rendang pedas ayam

my mum cooked this rendang...

1 chicken (1.8kg), cut into 12 pieces
2 cups thick coconut milk
1/2 cup kerisik
salt and sugar to taste
1 turmeric leaf, finely slice
1 asam keping

Ground Ingredients
10 shallots
5 clove garlic
3 stalks lemon grass, sliced
1/2 inch ginger, sliced
1/2 inch galangal, sliced
1/2 inch turmeric, sliced
8 small chillies
4 candlenuts
3 tablespoon chilli paste

1) Combine the chicken with the ground ingredients and coconut milk. Simmer for 30 to 40 minutes until almost dry.
2) Reduce the heat and add the kerisik. Season with salt and sugar.
3) Add turmeric leaf and stir before remove from heat.
