cappucino biscuits

Recipe from Aneka Rasa small cook book by Kraft. Simple and delicious, suitable for Hari Raya Aidil Fitri.

200g all purpose flour
2 tbs custard powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
225g butter
1 tbs instant coffee powder dissolved in 2 tbs of warm water.
1/2 cup roasted hazelnut - ground
150g bittersweet Toblerone chocolate - melted
150g icing sugar

1) Preheat oven to 160C.
2) In a bowl mix all ingredients.
3) Beat butter and icing sugar till light and fluffy. Add in diluted coffee and fold in dry ingredients.
4) Cool dough in refrigerator. Roll out dough to 1/4 cm thickness and cut into any shape you desire. You may also flatten with a fork fora textured effect.
5) Bake for 10 minutes. After the biscuits are cool, lightly dip sides in melted Toblerone chocolate. Leave to dry.
