chicken in lemon sauce

1 chicken, cut into bite size
season with salt and pepper and fry till halfcook.

lemon sauce
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. red pepper
1/8 tsp. poultry seasoning
2 tsp. flour
1/3 c. water
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/2 clove garlic, crushed

Heat butter and garlic over low heat, stirring constantly until butter is melted. Blend in flour and continue cooking until mixture is bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Use to baste chicken or fish during cooking.
