sour cream banana cake

eh!...tiba-tibakan semangat saya untuk masak macam berapi-rapi pulak hari ni...mungkin sebab birthday kakak kot....hmmm...mungkin jugalah...

lepas masak pasta pagi tadi...saya selongkar lagi peti sejuk...nak cari butter dan sour cream...sebabnya, kerana ada pisang besar-besar yang saya beli dari Tesco semalam. teringinlah pulak nak makan kek pisang, "semuanya aku teringin nak makan"....butter cake semalam tinggal sikit je lagi...

untuk resepi kek pisang kali ni (tak ingat sebelum ni saya ada masukkan resepi kek pisang tak?)...saya nak buat lain sikit dari yang biasa saya makan...kali ni saya nak campur sour cream atau krim masam....nampak macam sedap je gambar kat buku resepi AWW tu...

nilah dia kek pisang sour cream, baru saja keluar dari oven dan memang sedap... saya menggunakan cream cheese icing untuk topping kek ini...walau bagaimanapun dibawah ni saya beri resepi topping asal kek ini....

ingredients125g butter
2 eggs
1 cup mashed banana
1 1/2 cups self-raising flour
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
3/4 sour cream
1 tablespoon milk

method1) cream butter and sugar with electric mixer until light and fluffy, beat in eggs, one at a time and beat until combined.
2) stir in banana, stir in half the sifted dry ingredients with half the combines sour cream and milk then stir in remaining dry ingredients and sour cream mixture. stir until smooth.
3) pour mixture into prepared pan. bake at 180C for about one hour.

caramel icing...melt 60g butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar in saucepan, stir contantly over heat without boiling for 2 minutes. add 2 tablespoon sour cream, bring to the boil. remove from heat, stir in 1 1/2 cups sifted icing sugar.
