600g raw peanuts
100g sesame seeds
600g white sugar
3 tablespoon margarine
Peanuts - Stir-fry the raw peanut without oil until golden colour. Filter and separate peanut with skin.
Sesame seeds - Stir fry until lightly golden brown
Sugar - Place in a heavy-based saucepan and heat gently until sugar melts and caramelizes, add margarine and stir. Add peanuts and sesame seeds and stir well to combined.
Then, using aluminium foil (or rolling pin), press or roll the peanuts mixture to form an even, compact layer (about 0.5" thickness). Cut it into small squares with a sharp knife while it is still hot.
