bitter gourd cook in coconut milk

Ingredients
1 medium bitter gourd, remove seeds and thickly sliced (about 1 cm)
1/2 cup small prawn, skinned
1 cup coconut milk

Pounded Ingredients:
1 red chilli
3 hot cili padi, optional
3 small red onion
2 clove garlic
little dried shrimp
1 asam keping (tamarind)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder

Direction
Put bitter gourd in medium saucepan, add 1 cup of water and boil for 5 minutes. Add coconut milk and other ingredients and boil until it soft. Season to taste. Serve hot with hot rice and fried fish or fried chicken and sambal belacan. Hmm....yummy!
